Statement of Faith

Nashua Christian Academy is a regional discipleship-model Christian school for grades K-12. NCA families come from more than 50 churches in a broad range of Christian denominations. This diversity within the body of Christ greatly enhances the living curriculum as we examine Scripture together. Students learn the fundamentals of the faith in daily Bible classes and experience them first-hand at numerous outreach events during the year. Denominational differences are recognized, and students are encouraged to discuss those differences with their parents and pastor to better understand what they believe and why.

Of all the enduring qualities that develop in childhood and adolescence, character is the most important. Our commitment as a discipleship model school is to partner closely with Christian families and their local churches to foster meaningful Christ-centered relationships. Communication, praise, discipline, mentoring–all these are done in the light of Christ’s example.

Learning and living successfully require God’s wisdom, strength and guidance. Knowledge is just the beginning. Heart, character, attitude – these are the qualities that make a difference in someone’s life. A heart for God finds purpose in what it learns, and applies that knowledge with understanding to impact the world.

Godly character testifies to God’s grace and love.

Development of Godly character? That is, quite simply, the work of the Spirit. And God’s Spirit is found in his Presence. That is where we study, work and play at Nashua Christian Academy.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible is the Spirit inspired, inerrant and wholly authoritative Word of God. – 2 Tim 3:16
  • We believe that there is one God who is eternally existent in the three persons of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. – 1 Jn 5:4-7
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in his sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary death on the cross, in His shed blood for the remission of sin, in His bodily resurrection from the dead, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. – Jn 10:30; Lk 1:34,35; Heb 7:26; Acts 2:22; II Cor 5:21; I Jn 1:7; I Cor 15:4; Acts 2:33; Lk 21:27
  • We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, light and darkness, the sky and waters, the sea and land, vegetation according to its various kinds, the day and night, the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, the creatures of the earth according to their kinds, and man in His image. – Gen 1:27
  • We believe that man was created good and upright, and that by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God the Father. – Gen 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Rom 5:12-19
  • We believe that man’s salvation is received through repentance for sin and faith in Jesus Christ, shown by a life that is growing in holiness. – Lk 13:3; Rom 10:9; II Cor 7:1
  • We believe in leading a life that is sanctified by the power of the Holy Spirit where sanctification is the act of separation from that which is evil and being dedicated unto God. – Rom 8:13; 12:1-2
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will enter into the resurrection of life with the Father according to Christ’s work, and the lost into the resurrection of the damned according to their own works. – Jn 5:24, 28, 29
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of the Body of Christ, that includes all those who are trusting Christ for their salvation and leading a sanctified life. – Jn 17:21-23

Core Values

  • Discipleship – Nashua Christian Academy is a discipleship-model school, working to support and encourage Christian families and their local churches in southern New Hampshire and northeastern Massachusetts. “a threefold cord is not quickly broken” – Ecclesiastes 4:l2
  • Authority of the Bible – God’s Word is the foundation for all instruction and for discipline at NCA. “The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” – Psalm 119:130
  • Encouragement – Instruction at NCA is provided in an atmosphere of respect and encouragement, as we work to build up each student spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. “So now brothers, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” – Acts 20:32
  • Parental Involvement – Parents are involved as an essential part of NCA, speaking into and upholding the education of their sons and daughters before Christ. “And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers” – Malachi 4:6
  • Growth – Every staff member at NCA is committed to seeking professional and spiritual growth in order to enhance his or her service to the Lord. “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” – 2 Timothy 2:15
  • Development of the Whole Person – At NCA our success resides in the hearts of our students. Nashua Christian Academy strives to instill a passion for God and compassion for others in each and every student. We offer many opportunities for our students in K-12 to live out their Christian faith in community service and active world missions (James 2:14-17). NCA is committed to developing the whole student; encouraging a whole-hearted pursuit of God.
