Nashua Christian Academy welcomed staff and students back to school Tuesday, August 25th. From the playground to the lunchrooms to the classrooms, NCA was filled with the buzz of expectant teachers and students returning to school. New backpacks and school supplies, new shoes and uniforms, smiling teachers and parents were everywhere.
At NCA, we are blessed as a Christian community to know that the values we treasure surround our children all day long at school. We rest in knowing that the God we honor is present there. And we can tell you that as faculty, we are reminded of His Presence each morning before the students arrive, as we gather to worship and to pray for our families!
In the Elementary grades on Tuesday morning, songs were heard coming from many classrooms, little ones practiced their fire drill routines and other students got a walking tour of their new surroundings. Junior High students came to school full of energy and excited about learning! Already busy with making plaster face masks in Art class, working together on science experiments, and playing patterning games in math, Junior High loves hands on learning.
And finally, the High School was abuzz, greeting old friends and lots of new students this year. Students from Ukraine, South Korea and Brazil join the mix this year, bringing a deeper cultural awareness to the NCA community. Moving into class, seniors dove into college credit courses in Literature, Psychology, and Calculus, while students at every grade level considered electives in Graphic Design, Worship, Yearbook and Art.
So school is back in session, and we are excited to discover new friends, to learn new things and to explore new opportunities!
