Our own Jean Eastman has been named one of New Hampshire’s 20 most outstanding women by radio station WZID. You all know Mrs. Eastman as teacher, musician, Bible teacher and administrator extraordinaire. She is now being officially recognized for her passion and excellence!
And “passionate” is the word to describe Jean Eastman. As the Elementary and Jr. High Principal at Nashua Christian Academy, Jean demonstrates a passion for her faith and encourages students to pursue academic excellence every day. In addition to her administrative duties at NCA, Jean teaches a Bible Class to Junior High students, and using her gift of music, she leads and teaches chapel twice a week. Jean continually puts the needs of NCA students at the top of her list and looks for fun and fresh ways to encourage them in their faith walk—orchestrating all-day field trips, multiple day retreats, or sleepovers at the school. Jean is passionate about keeping faith and education exciting for young people.
In addition to her full time work at NCA, Jean ministers as part of the worship team at her church, and is part of the Dolce Trio—a team that plays music for seniors, prisoners, groups, and elderly shut-ins throughout NH who need to be encouraged. Jean is a joy and a blessing to those who know her and we are delighted to see her recognized as one of NH’s most outstanding women because that is exactly what she is!
Mrs. Eastman was chosen out of hundreds of nominees. As part of her winning package, Mrs. Eastman will be featured on the WZID website, her (mini) biography will appear in the WZID Women’s Expo Guide, and she will appear on Mike & Tracy’s Morning Show within the next few weeks (we will let you know as soon as we have details)!
